Fastest-falling baby names of 2025

These names dropped the most places in the US rankings between 2024 and 2025, among names in the top 1,000 for 2024. Aubrie fell 354 places for girls, to #1,353, and Karim fell 263 places for boys, to #1,084.

A falling rank says nothing about whether a name is a good choice. Plenty of parents look for names that are becoming less common. The sparklines show each name since 1880.
