The childow pledge · version 1
A children’s health record has to earn trust in public.
Six promises, published and versioned. If we ever change one, this page shows the change and keeps the old wording visible below.
- 01Core tools are free forever. The growth chart, milestone checklists, checkup reports, Name Match, recall alerts and family sharing will not be put behind a paywall. If a paid plan ever exists, it only adds extras, and its price is shown before you enter any data.
- 02No ads. No pixels. No data sales. No advertising, no ad or social-media pixels, no third-party trackers, no data sales and no lead-generation partners, on any page. Fonts and analytics are served from our own domain. Our analytics are first-party, cookieless and never include your child’s data.
- 03Export everything, any time.Every measurement, milestone answer, report, question and name room can be downloaded as CSV and JSON whenever you like. Deleting a child or your account removes the data for real, in one step.
- 04No surprise AI on your child’s data.Explanations on charts and checklists come from written rules you can read, not from a language model. We will not run AI features on a child’s record without asking first, separately and clearly.
- 05Never a diagnosis. We show where a measurement sits on the standard charts and what the CDC checklists say, always with the source. We never tell you something is wrong. When guidance applies, it is CDC’s and AAP’s: talk to your pediatrician. CDC notes that its milestone checklists “are not a substitute for standardized, validated developmental screening tools.”
- 06Pause means silence. If you pause or close a child’s profile, every lifecycle email about that child stops at once, with no follow-ups and no “we miss you” messages.
