Medical review status
No clinical reviewer yet. None of our health guides has been reviewed by a pediatrician, pediatric nurse practitioner or nurse. Until one is, those pages carry “Clinical review: not yet reviewed” and are kept out of search results.
We never name a reviewer before they have actually reviewed a page, and we never describe a page as “medically reviewed” on the strength of its sources alone. A review record is entered by an administrator only after a real, credentialed person has read the page; it stores their name, credential, the date and which pages they reviewed.
What is not a review: the growth tables, percentiles and milestone checklists are computed from or quoted from CDC and WHO data and tested against the published files. That makes them accurate copies of the references, not clinical advice. How we write and source everything is in the editorial policy.
